PADI Boat/Drift Diver Courses
This combination program was designed specifically to be taught in conjunction with our annual trips to the Niagara River. It provides the opportunity to earn not one, but two popular PADI Specialty Diver ratings while enjoying a weekend of exciting diving.
- It’s no secret that, whether in the tropics or closer to home, the best diving takes place from boats. Diving from boats, however, is not the same as wading in from shore. There are procedures and techniques you will need to follow to not only make diving easier, safer and more enjoyable, but also to avoid looking like you have no clue what you are doing.
- To some, the notion of intentionally diving in strong currents sounds like a lot of work (and more than a little bit scary). In reality, drift diving is some of the easiest diving imaginable — and it is certainly among the most exciting.
This program is designed to help you develop both these valuable skills — while having a great time in the process.
