Niagara River Drift Diving

Summer, 2007: Several Dates Available

One thing we should make clear up front: No, you don’t come anywhere near the falls. That fact notwithstanding, drift diving down one of America’s most famous rivers is both exciting and fun.

You barely have to kick; the water does most of the work.
Visibility of 30 to 40 feet is common.
Summertime water temperatures can be 70°F.
You can find antique bottles and other historic artifacts.

Don’t be surprised if your dive buddies include walleye, sturgeon, pike and gar.

On each of our Niagara drift diving weekends, divers have their choice of morning or afternoon trips (subject to availability). Many divers choose to camp out on this trip; Knight’s Hide-Away campground is close by.

Space on the boat is limited, and these trips fill fast. Sign up and reserve your rental equipment early.

Typical Dive Trip Time Frames

As Soon As Possible	• Sign up for trip • Reserve rental equipment
Thursday or Friday	• Pick up rental equipment at Just Add water
Friday Evening	• Drive to Fort Erie, Ontario • Check into motel or campground
Saturday (Morning Group)	• Meet at boat at 7:30 am sharp • Return at approximately noon • Leave tanks with Captain Don for filling
Saturday (Afternoon Group)	• Meet at boat at 12:30 pm sharp • Return at approximately 5:00 pm • Leave tanks with Captain Don for filling
Sunday (Morning Group)	• Meet at boat at 7:30 am sharp • Return at approximately noon
Sunday (Afternoon Group)	• Meet at boat at 12:30 pm sharp • Return at approximately 5:00 pm
Monday	• Return rentals to Just Add Water • Sign up for your next dive trip • Tell your friends how much fun you had
