Scuba Tune Up: How Long Has it Been?

Sure, you’re already certified — but how long has it been since you last went diving? A few months? A few years?

If it’s been a while since you were last in the water, you’ll want to take the PADI Scuba Tune-Up.

Who Can Learn? You need to be a certified diver (any major training agency) who is at least ten years of age and able to either answer No to all of the questions on the PADI/RSTC Medical History form, or secure a physician’s approval prior to taking part.

 

What is Involved? You start by completing the convenient, self-study materials at your own convenience. Then, when you are ready, join one of our instructors or divemasters for a classroom discussion and a trip to the pool to go over critical skills.

 

Where Do You Learn? We have sessions that take place throughout the area, with sessions beginning at Just Add Water and ending at Mayfield Village, Mentor Civic Center or Notre Dame College.

How Much? $40/person if you supply just mask, snorkel, fins and mouthpieces; $30/person if you supply everything except tanks and weights. Students must purchase the PADI Scuba Tune Up manual.
